The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has sent a clear message to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to commence preparations for handing over power as Nigerians appear unwilling to grant him a second term in office come 2027.

Speaking at the PDP state secretariat in Yola, Adamawa State, the party’s Organising Secretary, Hamza Madagali, expressed the growing impatience among citizens with the current APC administration. He stated, “Nigerians are wiser now; they now know the difference between original and fake. The only way out is to return the PDP back to power.”

Madagali criticised the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for lack of direction and failure in governance. He added that the PDP’s recent ward congresses in Adamawa reflected unity and readiness to reclaim leadership at the federal level.

“The composition of the National Convention committees showed that the APC’s time in power at the presidency was coming to an end,” he asserted.

Madagali emphasised that Nigerians have learned from past mistakes and are determined not to gamble with the future of their children. He urged the electorate to reject the APC and restore PDP’s mandate in the next general elections.
