Professor K’tso Nghargbu, Chairman of the North Central Renaissance Movement, has reiterated that the North Central geopolitical zone is ripe for leadership and deserves a chance to produce Nigeria’s next president in the 2027 general election.

He made this statement during a meeting with notable Nigerians, including General Aliyu Gusau, Senator John Danboyi, the Chairman North Central Governor’s Forum, Emir of Keffi, His Royal Highness ,Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa 111 and the Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly ,Rt Hon.Danladi Jatau.

Professor Nghargbu highlighted the zone’s historical marginalization, citing the denial of presidential and vice-presidential slots since Nigeria’s independence and the return of democracy in 1999.

He emphasized that the zone has been plagued by political parties’ leadership controversies and unpopular military rule.

The professor also appealled for Nigerians’ support to make the North Central zone’s presidential aspiration a reality. He believes that zoning the presidency to the zone would be a constitutional right, given the zone’s potential and capacity for leadership.

Professor Nghargbu emphasized that the North Central zone has what it takes to lead rather than be led, citing its rich resources and capable citizens, urging Nigerians to support the zone’s bid for the presidency in 2027.

He reiterated that plans are on course to visit all the states houses of assembly in the north central zone as well as paramount rulers for advocacy.
