Fresh controversy has emerged in Nollywood as Yinka Theisen, the former fiancée of actor Linc Edochie, has accused him of deliberately leaking a private audio recording of her to an online blog.
In a Facebook post, Yinka alleged that the recording, which captured her pleading for forgiveness during their past relationship, was released to embarrass her.
She described the alleged action as a deep betrayal, stressing that such behaviour could have lasting consequences, especially when children are exposed to social media scandals.
According to her, “I stood by him when others turned their back, I was kind to him, I supported his children, yet he chose to pay me back with public humiliation.”
The mother of one also recalled that her daughter, who had grown fond of Linc during their engagement, felt disappointed when he abruptly ended their relationship.
Yinka further claimed that Linc had previously spoken about feeling sidelined by his family and even confided that he might never return to Nigeria if he relocated abroad. She maintained that family influence and loyalty to certain relatives played a major role in his decision to cut ties.
She added that the leaked audio was an attempt to portray her as desperate while concealing his personal struggles.
