Governor Uba Sani has emerged as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general election after securing a sweeping victory in the party’s primary.
Sani polled 459,393 affirmation votes in the primary election held in Kaduna State, effectively cementing his position as the party’s flagbearer ahead of the next electoral cycle.
The exercise, conducted on Saturday, saw overwhelming support for the incumbent governor, underscoring his stronghold within the ruling party’s structure in the state.
His nomination now positions him as a key contender in the upcoming 2027 governorship contest, where he is expected to defend the APC’s dominance in Kaduna State.
