Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) have picked up a suspected terrorist in Wukari Local Government Area, Taraba State, after locals grabbed him and handed him over.
The arrest happened around 8 p.m. on 6 April 2026 in Rafin Kada community, along the Rafin Kada–Wukari road, security sources
Early questioning suggests the man belongs to a terror cell working the area. He had ₦2,200 on him and was reportedly trying to buy marijuana when residents cornered him.
Troops now have him in custody for deeper interrogation, while they fan out to find the rest of the network.
