Nigeria’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reform agenda, describing the president as uniquely suited to lead the country at a critical moment in its history.
Speaking at the Presidential Press Corps Dinner on Thursday night, Gbajabiamila said Tinubu had already implemented about 10 major reforms within his first three years in office, adding that the administration’s reform drive was far from over.
“In three years, you have 10 reforms under your belt. Personally, I believe there is a lot more to come. We were still discussing some in your office yesterday. Every day is one reform after another,” he said.
The Chief of Staff also commended the president’s work ethic, saying members of his team remain inspired by Tinubu’s commitment and capacity to govern despite the enormous demands of office.
“Your capacity to work is something encouraging. Many of us don’t even understand how you do it, but we will continue to follow you,” Gbajabiamila remarked.
He concluded by expressing confidence in the president’s leadership, saying there was “no doubt” that Tinubu was “the President Nigeria needs at this time” as the country continues to navigate economic and governance reforms.
