Information Minister Mohammed Idris has affirmed that President Bola Tinubu’s leadership is repositioning Nigeria towards sustained growth and development. Speaking to residents in Jos, Plateau State, on Thursday, Idris highlighted key achievements across vital sectors under the current administration.
“This government is building a solid foundation that will leave a lasting legacy for the next generation,” he said. “Every achievement is a step towards building a stronger and more prosperous nation; the current administration remains committed to putting the welfare of every citizen at the heart of its work.”
Idris outlined progress made in health, education, agriculture, and power sectors, emphasising the administration’s efforts in ensuring food security. He also pointed to investments in critical infrastructure, including roads and an improved affordable transportation system, alongside initiatives to empower youth.
On security, the minister reaffirmed the government’s dedication to tackling insecurity and protecting lives and property nationwide. He acknowledged that some reform programmes may take time to produce visible results, urging Nigerians to support, pray for, and be patient with the government.
“In the journey so far, it is clear that the road ahead holds even greater promise,” Idris remarked, calling the gathering a “testament to our collective resolve and commitment to turn vision into action.”
