A political figure in Kaduna State has alleged that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is providing monthly financial support to Governor Uba Sani in an effort to politically sideline him, despite what he described as his past contributions to the state.

Speaking in a statement circulated by Native Reporters, the unnamed figure claimed he was being deliberately targeted for marginalisation, insisting that the alleged moves would not succeed.

“Despite all the good I have done for them, they are paying to bring me down. But God is with me,” he said.

The claim, which has not been independently verified, comes amid rising political tensions in Kaduna and growing speculation over internal power struggles ahead of future electoral contests.

Neither the Presidency nor the Kaduna State Government has responded to the allegation.

Political analysts say such accusations reflect widening cracks within political alliances and underline the increasingly personalised nature of elite rivalries in Nigeria, as key actors reposition themselves for influence.

Observers warn that unless addressed through dialogue and transparency, internal party disputes risk deepening divisions and distracting leaders from governance and development priorities.
