Nigerian rapper and activist Falz has joined protesters in Lagos to demand urgent action against the country’s worsening insecurity, warning that the continued abduction of students is unacceptable.

Addressing demonstrators, the award-winning artist questioned why schools remain open while cases of student kidnappings continue to threaten lives across the country.

“What’s going on in this country? Schools are still open while students are being kidnapped. This must stop,” Falz declared, echoing growing public frustration over the security situation.

His remarks come amid mounting concerns over persistent attacks on schools and the safety of students, with citizens renewing calls on the government to strengthen security and protect vulnerable communities.

The protest adds to increasing public pressure on authorities to tackle the country’s security crisis and end the wave of kidnappings that has disrupted education and heightened fears among parents and communities.
