Distinguished Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, has strongly condemned the recent attack on Tattara community in Panda Development Area of Karu Local Government, Nasarawa State, by unknown assailants.
The Senator expressed deep concern over the loss of lives and property, describing the incident as a tragic and senseless act that disrupts the peace and stability of the region.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the people of Tattara community, and the entire Panda Development Area, assured them of his commitment to working with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of lives and property across Nasarawa West Zone.
“Violence of any form is unaccepted, and the perpetrators of this heinous act must be brought to justice, I stand in solidarity with the people of Tattara during this difficult time and assure them of my support in advocating for enhanced security measures in our communities” He reiterated.
The Senator also commended the swift response of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, who has already taken decisive action by approving the establishment of a Military Super-Camp in Tattara to bolster security in the area. He lauded the governor’s proactive leadership and commitment to protecting the lives of citizens, noting that this intervention will go a long way in restoring peace and confidence among the people.
Sen. Wadada called on the Federal Government, security agencies, and community leaders to work collaboratively to address the root causes of insecurity and ensure sustainable peace in Nasarawa State. He also urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
The Senator reiterated his dedication to championing the welfare of the people, stressing that security is a fundamental prerequisite for development. He called for prayers for the affected families and for lasting peace in the state and the nation at large.
