In a chilling revelation, Abdulrahman Idi-Isin, an Islamic cleric from Ilorin, has confessed to the heinous murder of a young girl, claiming he sold her head to a client in Ibadan. This shocking admission has sent ripples through the community and raised serious concerns about the dark underbelly of criminal activities involving religious figures.
According to authorities, Abdulrahman, who reportedly has N5 million in his main account, detailed the gruesome act during an interrogation. He also implicated another cleric from the Isale-Koko area of Ilorin, raising questions about possible networks of complicity within the religious community.
In a further disturbing discovery, police found 12 pairs of female shoes in Abdulrahman’s residence, with the victim, identified as Hafsoh Lawal, having her own pair among them, marking it as the 13th. This chilling detail adds a layer of macabre to an already horrific crime, highlighting the potential premeditation involved in the act.
The community is in shock as more details emerge, and authorities are urging anyone with information related to this case or the cleric’s activities to come forward. As investigations continue, the case serves as a grim reminder of the potential for evil that can lurk beneath the surface of society, even among those who are meant to be moral guides.
