Vice President Kashim Shettima has praised the Kaduna State Government, under Governor Uba Sani, for what he described as a constructive partnership and an inclusive approach to governance that has accelerated the rebuilding of Tudun Biri.
Speaking at an official event, the Vice President commended Governor Sani for working closely with the Federal Government to deliver critical infrastructure and social services to the community. He noted that the collaboration had produced tangible results, underscoring the benefits of cooperative federalism.
According to Shettima, the Kaduna State Government executed key infrastructure projects in Tudun Biri, including the construction of access roads, a hospital and a skills acquisition centre, while the Federal Government delivered housing units for affected residents.
“I commend the Kaduna State Government, led by my brother Governor Uba Sani, for his constructive partnership and inclusive approach to governance,” the Vice President said. “It is the Kaduna government that constructed the roads, built the hospital and the skills acquisition centre, while the Federal Government built the houses.”
He added that the coordinated efforts between both tiers of government had helped fast-track recovery and restore hope to the community, describing the Tudun Biri intervention as a model for effective intergovernmental collaboration.
The Vice President reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to working with state governments across the country to deliver people-centred development, stressing that inclusive leadership and synergy remain critical to rebuilding communities and strengthening national unity.
