An early-morning explosion on Tuesday jolted the General Hospital in Bagudo, Kebbi State, sparking panic among residents and hospital staff.
The Kebbi State Police Command, while confirming the incident, said the blast occurred in the hospital premises but caused no casualties.
According to initial reports, the explosion struck in the pre-dawn hours, prompting an immediate response from security personnel and emergency officials.
Police spokespersons said investigations have commenced to determine the cause of the blast and to assess any potential structural damage within the facility.
