Dancehall singer, Inetimi Alfred Odom aka Timaya has described veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem as a talkative who no one is afraid of in the music industry. Timaya said this while dismissing talks that he is like Eedris, insisting that he does not talk or behave like the rapper. The singer also emphasized that he respects himself and wants to be respected by others.
“I no dey talk or behave like Eedris. Nobody Dey fear Eedris because he is talking too much. Right from time,” Timaya said.
“I don’t even want people to be afraid of me. I respect myself so that people can respect me too. Eedris and I never had any problems. The relationship we had was because I worked with him. I learned what I needed and moved on. I don’t even think he knew my name at that time. I only just give him shoutouts because he was part of my story. We don’t have any reason to communicate.”
The duo’s face-off started in 2017 when Eedris described the ‘Timaya as an ingrate, claiming he wouldn’t have been successful if not for his support. But Timaya fired back at him, accusing the rapper of using his services without paying him in return. He also alleged that Eedris regarded him like a nobody, adding that the musician should work on himself and stop blaming people.
