A senior non-commissioned officer (SNCO) of the Nigerian Army, Abdulfatai Odutola, has been abducted along the Abuja-Jos highway, SaharaReporters has learned. According to military sources, Odutola was traveling to Yola, Adamawa State, on Saturday when the incident occurred.
The kidnappers are reportedly demanding a N20 million ransom for his release. An internal military memo obtained confirmed the abduction, stating that Odutola left Ilorin on Friday, February 14th, spent the night in Abuja, and continued his journey on Saturday before being abducted.
