Nigeria, Saudi Arabia Sign MoU for Seamless 2025 Hajj Operations

Abuja – The Federal Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia to ensure smooth and seamless Hajj operations for Nigerian pilgrims in 2025.
The MoU was signed by the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, and the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdulfattah Mashat.
The signing ceremony, facilitated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, was witnessed by key officials, including Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Consul General of Nigeria in Jeddah, Amb. Muazam Ibrahim Nayaya.
The MoU outlines the responsibilities and expectations of both nations, covering key areas such as accommodation, transportation, and healthcare services, to enhance the overall welfare of Nigerian pilgrims.
This agreement aims to streamline the Hajj process and ensure a positive and fulfilling experience for all Nigerian pilgrims.
