Global rap superstar Nicki Minaj has joined a growing list of international celebrities celebrating Nigerian Afrobeats icon Davido and his wife, Chioma, following their grand white wedding in Miami over the weekend.
The couple, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony attended by friends, family and high-profile guests from across the world, have continued to receive waves of goodwill messages from fans and stars alike.
Davido, still revelling in the joy of the occasion, took to his X handle to describe the day as nothing short of magical. “We had an amazing wedding, perfect in fact! Me and my wife body still dey sweet us like this… Nothing una fit do, say or make up will ever change the facts that we had a fairytale wedding, and one of the best days—if not the best day—of our lives. The whole world celebrated us!” he wrote.
Responding under his post, Nicki Minaj commented, “Congratulations to you both,” to which Davido replied, “We love you, Queen!”
American rapper Young Thug has also extended his best wishes to the couple, further cementing the international spotlight on the wedding.
