A private renewable energy company, Nexus Edge Innovations Dynamics Limited, has unveiled a free technical skills training programme aimed at equipping 100 young people in Adamawa State with practical expertise in solar and energy technologies.

The initiative, scheduled to commence on Monday, June 22, 2026, is being organised in honour of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Galadima in recognition of his contributions during his tenure at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).

According to the organisers, participants will receive hands-on training in solar energy systems, inverter installation, CCTV installation and satellite technology, with the broader goal of strengthening the state’s technical workforce and supporting its transition to renewable energy.

Nexus Edge Innovations Dynamics Limited said the programme reflects its commitment to community development beyond its core business operations.

“Skills training is not our regular business. This is our contribution to the state. We import, we build, we power—and now we train,” the company said in a statement, describing the initiative as an investment in Adamawa’s next generation of renewable energy professionals.

The firm added that it hopes to bridge the gap between global advancements in clean energy and local capacity, noting that the programme is designed to prepare young people for emerging opportunities in Nigeria’s growing renewable energy sector.

Nexus Edge Innovations Dynamics Limited operates from 5A Saico Plaza in Yola and says the initiative aligns with its vision of promoting sustainable energy solutions while creating employment opportunities through technical skills development.
