Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kola, has told fellow contestant Dede that he’s strongly attracted to her — but says it’s too early to talk about love.
During a late-night conversation on Day 4 of the show, Kola opened up about his feelings, admitting Dede fits the type of woman he naturally gravitates toward.
“You are actually my type, that’s why I wanted to get to know you, talk to you and everything,” he said. “I’m not going to sit down and act like I’m not attracted to you. Anyway, I’m very much attracted to you. It’s Day 4, so I can’t say that I like you, but what I would say for sure is that you are someone…”
The moment sparked wider conversations online about boundaries and early showmance tensions in the Big Brother house. But Dede wasn’t having it.
In a sharp response, she set the record straight, telling Kola she is not emotionally available. She also dismissed Kola’s accusation that she might be closer to another housemate, Jason Jae.
“I’m in a relationship outside the house very serious really not open,” Dede told him firmly.
She also gave a clear warning against any assumptions or romantic pressure going forward.
“If tomorrow you’re trying to be my friend and there’s feelings involved and I’m hearing, ‘Oh I need reciprocation,’ it will not happen. It will definitely not happen, by God’s grace,” she said.
