A high power delegation of African Democratic Congress (ADC) stakeholders from Adavi Local Government Area paid a solidarity visit to the Kogi State Party Chairman, Dr. Tom Zakari, at his Abuja residence on Monday.
The delegation was led by esteemed party stalwart Hajia Mariam Ibrahim Salihu Adoke and a revered elder statesman of the party, Alhaji Abdulazeez Isah Araga.
Speaking during the visit, Hajia Mariam Adoke described Dr. Zakari’s emergence as a “well-deserved call to service,” noting that his leadership comes at a pivotal moment in the party’s journey. She reaffirmed the total commitment of the Adavi chapter to the Chairman’s vision, promising a collaborative effort to expand the party’s influence.
In his remarks, Alhaji Abdulazeez Isah Araga commended the Chairman’s integrity and unwavering dedication to the ADC’s growth.
The visit featured a prominent lineup of party leaders, including former House of Representatives candidate Hon. Abdulazeez Ovavu, and House of Representatives aspirants Dr. Aishat Ibrahim Adoke and Hon. Adams Mustapha Ojenya.
Hon. Ojenya, who is vying for the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency seat, urged the Chairman to maintain a visionary approach to leadership. “We look forward to a leadership that unites us and upholds the core ideologies of our great party,” he stated.
Other notable leaders in attendance included Hon. Yahaya Obaito Landgobe, Hon. Ayila Muhammad, Hon. Abu Alhassan, and Mall. Abdullahi Sadiq.
Responding, Dr. Tom Zakari expressed gratitude for the show of loyalty. He assured the delegation of his commitment to an inclusive, transparent, and progressive administration aimed at repositioning the ADC for landslide victories across Kogi State.
