Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has said he is unfazed by the political influence of Obafemi Hamzat as attention gradually shifts towards the 2027 elections.
In a statement, Rhodes-Vivour argued that Hamzat has “serious questions to answer” regarding the performance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State. He suggested that governance outcomes under the ruling party would remain a central issue in future political contests.
Rhodes-Vivour maintained that rather than intimidation, accountability should define the political conversation, stressing that residents deserve clear answers on key issues affecting the state.
There has been no immediate response from Hamzat or the APC regarding the remarks.
The comments signal an early sharpening of political rhetoric ahead of the next electoral cycle in Nigeria’s commercial capital.
