The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has imposed strict visitation limits on former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, restricting access to only immediate family members, legal representatives and medical personnel.

According to the anti-graft agency, political associates — including leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) — have been excluded from visiting the former governor as investigations continue.

The development comes amid heightened political tension surrounding El-Rufai’s recent engagements and growing speculation over his political alliances ahead of future elections.

While the ICPC did not disclose further details surrounding the restrictions, officials maintained that the measures were necessary to preserve the integrity of ongoing proceedings.

ADC officials are yet to formally react to the decision.
