The Action Collective has issued a strong rebuttal to recent allegations made by Professor Mgbeke, denouncing her as a “well-known serial liar and betrayer” who allegedly uses corporate activism for fraudulent purposes.
The group’s statement comes in response to Mgbeke’s recent accusations directed at Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. The Action Collective asserted that they were not surprised by Mgbeke’s outburst, characterizing it as consistent with her “trademark pattern of betrayal and manipulation.”
In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Mr. Teddy Onyejuwe, the Action Collective stated, “We are very much aware of the antics of Professor Mgbeke. Her history of disappointing those who once supported her is legendary, and this latest outburst is simply another desperate attempt to stay relevant.”
The Action Collective further criticized Mgbeke’s attempt to portray herself as a defender of truth, highlighting her “long and tainted record of deceit” as contradictory to her current claims.
The statement also cautioned the public to be wary of Mgbeke, alleging that her consistent method involves exploiting individuals and organizations for personal benefit, followed by betrayal. “She has perfected the art of weaponizing relationships and fabricating narratives when it suits her selfish interests,” the group added. “Her track record speaks louder than any new lies she attempts to sell.”
Onyejuwe further stated, “She is a master fabricator who uses forged letters, fake programs, and non-existent partnerships to lure unsuspecting victims.” The Action Collective cited previous reports detailing her alleged activities, including a June 10, 2020 article on Nairaland.com and an April 24, 2025 report on Secretsreporter.com, which linked Mgbeke to numerous alleged scams and misrepresentations.
The group expressed confidence that the public and the international community would recognize Mgbeke’s “charade,” emphasizing that the pursuit of justice and genuine advocacy cannot be undermined by individuals with a history of unreliability and fraudulent behavior. “We remind everyone that betrayal is not new to her; it is her brand,” the Action Collective concluded.
