Reuben Abati and the Arise News Morning Show crew have invited Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, for an interview in their studio.

During the Morning Show on Tuesday, Abati claimed that the Minister would “sweat” when bombarded with questions if he accepts the invitation. “He has gone from Abuja to Port Harcourt; only God knows where he is headed for another media chat,” Abati remarked.

“He doesn’t have the confidence to come to this studio. Let him come—he will sweat, even with the AC. In this studio, we will make him sweat. Let him come here,” Abati added.

Earlier, Abati, a former presidential aide, criticized Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, for kneeling to serve his superior, describing the act as sycophancy.

In his response, Lere lambasted Abati, calling the former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan a failure.
