Governor Sule Swears-In Commissioners, Terminate TSC Chairman,members

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has sworn-in sixteen(16) newly appointed Commissioners that would constitute the State Executive Council.

The event held at the Lafia City Hall, Lafia on Friday had in attendance top government officials.

Governor Sule also assigned portfolios to the new Commissioners immediately after the oath-taking.

The Governor announced their portfolios as follows: Barrister Hauwa Samuel Jugbo, Justice; Yakubu Kwanta, Youth and Sports Development; Tanko Tunga, Land and Urban Development, Mohammed Sani Otto, Commerce and Industry; Munirat Abdullahi, Finance and Comrade Gabriel Agbashi assigned to the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Others are Isaac Danladi, Environment and Natural Resources; Ibrahim Tanko, Information; David Moyi, Special Duties and Legal Matters; John Mamman, Education and Aminu Maifata for Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Similarly the Governor Abdullahi Sule ordered the immediate termination of appointment of suspended TSC chairman and members.

He said a fresh and independent body would be constituted to conduct fresh selection interview for only 3000 already recruited teachers, with a view to selecting 1500 competent teachers.
