••Ex-CPC Youth Leaders Endorse Stakeholders’ Position, Urge Buhari’s Support for APC, Tinubu’s Agenda

The defunct Youth Wing of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) has declared its support for the Senator Al-Makura-led stakeholders’ engagement and endorsement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Kogi State Youth Leader & Coordinating Chairman States Youth Leaders’ Forum (Defunct CPC) the former youth leaders emphasized their commitment to national unity and progress, calling on former CPC leader, President Muhammadu Buhari, and other stakeholders to rally behind Senator Al-Makura’s efforts to strengthen the APC.
“Today, we, the erstwhile Youth Wing of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), stand united in our resolve to support the Senator Al-Makura-led stakeholders’ engagement/endorsement for our great party the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the President Tinubu administration,” stated Hon. Abubakar Maikudi, former National Youth Leader of the defunct CPC.
The statement highlighted the CPC Youth Wing’s foundational principles of justice, equity, and progress, emphasizing their belief in the APC’s vision of a united and inclusive Nigeria. They cited President Tinubu’s administration’s commitment to progressive policies, economic growth, and improved infrastructure as reasons for their endorsement.
“Our decision to support Senator Al-Makura-led stakeholders’ endorsement for the APC and President Tinubu’s administration is not taken lightly. We believe in the vision of a united, progressive Nigeria, and we see in the APC and President Tinubu’s administration a commitment to realizing this vision,” the statement read.
The former youth leaders urged Nigerians, particularly former CPC youths, to join them in supporting the APC and Tinubu’s administration. They called for unity and collective action to achieve a prosperous and united Nigeria.
“We urge all Nigerians, particularly our fellow CPC youths across the country, to join us in supporting the Senator Al-Makura-led stakeholders’ engagement/endorsement for the APC and President Tinubu’s administration. Together, we can achieve great things for our nation. Let us put aside our differences and work towards a common goal: a prosperous, united Nigeria,” said Prince Sani Ogu Salisu, former Kogi State Youth Leader and Coordinating Chairman of the States Youth Leaders’ Forum.
The statement concluded with a reaffirmation of their commitment to advocating for policies that benefit all Nigerians, especially youth, women, and marginalized communities.
