In a recent statement, Kaduna State corner Governor Nasir El-Rufai made shocking allegations against APC chieftain Bola Tinubu, claiming that Tinubu has mercenaries operating within the opposition PDP and Labour Party. El-Rufai explained that former Governor Peter Obi personally confided in him about the presence of these internal mercenaries, expressing confusion and concern about the state of affairs within the parties he had contested with in the past.
El-Rufai’s claims have stirred controversy and raised questions about the extent of political manipulation and sabotage within Nigeria’s opposition parties. As the 2023 general elections approach, these accusations are sure to have far-reaching implications on the political landscape of the country.
Mallam Nasir El-Rufai stated that Tinubu has mercenaries in the PDP and Labour Party, he said that Peter Obi told him this himself.
He said “There are internal mercenaries in the PDP, hired and motivated to destroy the party. The Labour Party is also facing similar issues. Peter Obi himself told me, ‘I don’t know what’s happening in the party I contested with.’”
