The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, hosted a high-level working visit from the Honourable Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, and the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Zacch Adedeji.
The meeting focused on strengthening the synergy between the nation’s fiscal and monetary authorities—a collaboration widely seen as essential for sustainable national development.

During the deliberations, the three leaders emphasized the importance of policy alignment to tackle inflation, improve revenue generation, and create a conducive environment for investment. By reinforcing the link between the CBN’s monetary interventions and the Ministry of Finance’s fiscal strategies, the government aims to harmonize efforts to stabilize the Naira and stimulate economic growth.

The visit underscores a unified front among Nigeria’s top economic managers as they work toward the shared goal of national prosperity and financial resilience.
