The Presidency has spotted a bogus story doing the rounds on social media claiming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has replaced his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, with his Principal Private Secretary, Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
The story is completely false. Nigerians should ignore it.
Gbajabiamila is still Chief of Staff; Muri-Okunola is still Principal Private Secretary. Nothing has changed.
The rumour is the work of rumour-mongers looking to stir trouble in the administration.
Media outlets and social media users should double-check any information before publishing or sharing.
