Cashew nut production within a short time has become an international cash crop drawing millions of hard earned foreign currency Dollars to Nigeria seasonally.
To sustain this the Kogi State Government has promised to support cashew nut industry through policies that would make the State the hub of cashew nut production and sales in Nigeria as it has become an international trade produce.
This was during the flagg-off of the 2025 cashew season in Anyigba, Kogi State.
