Governors elected on the platform of Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have resolved to open strategic consultations with the party’s national leadership as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
The decision followed a closed-door meeting held late on Monday, where the governors discussed key political and organisational issues ahead of the next electoral cycle.
