Alhaji Abdulkerim Nda, the Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Bassa Local Government, has refuted recent claims that party executives have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Alhaji Nda addressed the rumors today, asserting the party’s continued strength and unity in the local government area.
“It has come to our attention that certain individuals are spreading false information about the state of our party,” Alhaji Nda stated. “I want to make it unequivocally clear: the Social Democratic Party in Bassa Local Government is not only intact but thriving, united in our commitment to our values and goals.”
Alhaji Abdulkerim Nda while speaking to OBSERVERS TIMES emphasized that while the party respects individual rights to freedom of movement and association, honesty and integrity are paramount. “Spreading falsehoods to gain relevance is unacceptable,” he added. “The SDP in Bassa LGA remains a strong and vibrant force, dedicated to serving the people.”
