A popular automobile engineer in Anyigba, Dekina local government of Kogi state Yakubu Nuhu has been crushed to death by an articulated vehicle on the street of Anyigba.
Eye witness informed The Guardian that the accident occured Thursday evening at about 3:30pm.
“The mechanic just went out to test run a customers vehicle to able to detect faults before providing solution.
“In an interval of 100 meters distance from his workshop, a motorcyclist mistakenly ran into his vehicle and in his attempts to avoid crushing the Motorcyclist, he colluded with a truck coming from the opposite and was instantly crushed.
“The mechanic was rescued from the scene unconsciously in a pool of blood only to be confirmed dead in the hospital.
Nuhu was later burried according to Islamic rite in Anyigba.
Late Nuhu was described as a humble young man known in Anyigba as highly talented and skilled in automobiles engineering.
