The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has affirmed former Commissioner for Finance, Yakubu Adamu, as its governorship candidate ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
The party also confirmed Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, as its candidate for the Bauchi South Senatorial District, setting the stage for a high-stakes political contest in the state.
The endorsements signal the APM’s early move to strengthen its position in Bauchi politics as parties begin strategic alignments ahead of the 2027 polls.
Party officials said the selections reflected confidence in the candidates’ leadership experience and political influence within the state.
