The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) has appointed the party’s pioneer National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, to head its National Reconciliation Committee.
At its 179th meeting led by National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, the NWC also approved the immediate dissolution of the APC Enugu State Executive Committee.
In addition, the committee disqualified Engr. Ojo Kayode and Mrs Abimbola Olajumoke Olawumi from the forthcoming Ekiti governorship primaries, while Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and Mrs Atinuke Oluremi Omolayo were cleared to contest.
The NWC further announced that the timetable for the party’s congresses across the country will be released soon.
