The All Progressives Congress says a graphic doing the rounds online that slaps price tags on its 2027 nomination forms is bogus.
Friday’s post claims presidential hopefuls will shell out ₦200 million, while state-assembly hopefuls will pay ₦20 million.
In a statement on Saturday, National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka said the list did not come from the party.
“The attention of the APC has been drawn to a false and misleading report circulating in sections of the media regarding a purported ‘price list’ for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
“The APC states categorically that the report is FAKE and did not emanate from the party.”
Morka added that no decision—or announcement—has been made on when forms will sell or what they will cost.
He called the graphic “a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination” and urged members, journalists and the public to ignore it.
