The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has ordered all Air Component Commanders to ramp up smarter, harder, and more precise air strikes to decisively dismantle insurgent and terrorist strongholds across the country.
The directive came during a high-level strategic session with Theatre Commanders held in Abuja, aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s aerial warfare strategy and ensuring a decisive victory over terrorism.
According to a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the Air Chief emphasised that forthcoming operations must be defined by agility, precision, and intelligence-driven execution. He urged personnel to conduct every mission with the highest standards of professionalism, purpose, and patriotism.
Air Marshal Aneke reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and professional growth of air personnel, pledging continued investment in innovation, cutting-edge technology, and advanced training to guarantee operational success.
He also reiterated the Nigerian Air Force’s firm alignment with the Federal Government’s pursuit of lasting peace and national security, assuring that all operations would uphold international standards of accountability and conduct.
