The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially distanced itself from various online platforms and social media accounts claiming to offer membership registration for the party.

In a statement released on Sunday, January 11, 2026, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, warned that scammers are using fake links to harvest sensitive personal data and swindle unsuspecting citizens.

“At this time, ADC has not launched any public online membership registration link,” the statement read. “The party is currently perfecting its official registration and verification platform, which will be formally announced through verified party channels in due course.”

The party leadership urged the public to remain vigilant, noting that the ADC will never request payments, Bank Verification Numbers (BVN), or Voter Card (PVC) details via unofficial WhatsApp messages or third-party websites. Members are advised to verify all party-related information through the official handle @ADCNig on X or the party’s official website.
