President Bola Tinubu has directed the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to carry out a “thorough investigation” into the controversial Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), the presidential spokesperson said.
In a statement, Bayo Onanuga said Tinubu has asked the ICPC to conclude the probe and submit a comprehensive report to him within 30 days.
The statement did not provide further details on the allegations against the PFIPC or the scope of the investigation. More information is expected as the inquiry proceeds.
