Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued one of his starkest warnings yet to Russia, declaring that Moscow would face severe consequences if President Vladimir Putin refuses to end the war in Ukraine.
“If Ukraine burns, your Moscow will burn too,” Zelensky said, warning that Russia would “be beaten very hard” should the Kremlin continue its military campaign.
The remarks underscore Kyiv’s increasingly defiant rhetoric as the conflict shows no sign of easing, with both sides intensifying military operations and long-range strikes. Zelensky has repeatedly insisted that Ukraine will continue to resist Russia’s invasion until its sovereignty and territorial integrity are fully restored.
The Kremlin has not immediately responded to the latest comments.
