Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, retired General Christopher Musa, has inaugurated the Musawah for Youth and Development Initiative, a socio-political mobilisation platform designed to galvanise grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The initiative, unveiled at a public event, seeks to mobilise young people and communities in support of the two leaders’ second-term ambitions, with organisers describing it as a vehicle for promoting youth engagement, development and sustained political participation.
The launch marks one of the earliest organised political mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 polls, signalling the commencement of strategic grassroots campaigns aimed at consolidating support for the ruling administration in Kaduna State and across the country.
