The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has launched a manual membership registration exercise in Kogi State, urging residents—particularly youth and women—to register and participate in the party’s internal and electoral processes.

Sen. Tunde Ogbeha, National Vice Chairman, North Central, described the ADC as “a party for all Nigerians, particularly youth and women,” and encouraged new members to register. “By registering with ADC, you’re eligible to contest elections and decide who represents the party,” he said.

Hon. Wisdom Obaka Isah, chairman of the Membership Registration and Revalidation Committee (MMRR), announced that 50,000 membership cards have been allocated to Kogi and will be distributed equally among the state’s local government areas and wards. Obaka Isah immediately registered Sen. Ogbeha and other stakeholders at the launch.

Prominent attendees included former Deputy Governor Elder Simon Achuba; Sen. Dino Melaye; State Chairman Kingsley Temitope Ogga; former secretaries to the state government Alh. Musa Ahmadu and Mrs. Josephine Abanida; former PDP governorship candidate Musa Wada; former PDP chairman Elder Sam Ohutu; former PDP publicity secretary Chief Kola Ologbondiyan; National Welfare Secretary David Itopa; former Lokoja LGA chairman Hon. Yabagi Bologi; former governorship aspirant Olayinka Braimoh; and other party leaders.

The ADC said the physical registration exercise has now commenced across Kogi State and will continue at designated registration centres.
