The Rivers State House of Assembly will hold its first plenary on Thursday at 10 a.m., following the lifting of emergency rule by President Bola Tinubu.
The session, to be presided over by Speaker Martin Amaewhule, will take place at the Conference Hall of the Legislative Quarters on Aba Road, where lawmakers are currently holding sittings.
The development marks the formal return of legislative activities and democratic governance in the state.
