Manchester United have finalised the signing of Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško from RB Leipzig in a deal worth €85 million.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Saturday that all paperwork between the two clubs has been completed, with contracts approved following the player’s medical earlier in the day.

“Manchester United and RB Leipzig have signed all documents for Benjamin Šeško deal. The contracts have been approved after medical today, all sealed between clubs for €85m package. Šeško signs on Saturday morning ahead of unveiling at Old Trafford,” Romano posted on X.

The 21-year-old forward, who scored 14 goals in the Bundesliga last season, will be unveiled to fans before the new Premier League campaign kicks off.

Romano also revealed that Manchester United remain active in the transfer market. “United remain in contact with Baleba agents in the last 48 hours,” he said, hinting at further additions before the window closes.

Elsewhere in the transfer scene, Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak is reported to have rejected multiple contract extension offers. Talks are said to be progressing between Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman and Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.

Romano further noted that Chelsea duo Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson are “set to leave” the London club before the end of the summer window.
