In a decisive response to the tragic collapse of the Keffi Flyover in Nasarawa State, the Federal Government has commenced reconstruction efforts, announced on Thursday. The July incident, which claimed three lives, prompted immediate action to restore the vital infrastructure.
Following a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by President Bola Tinubu, Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, addressed State House Correspondents, confirming the start of the project. “We have settled with the affected families, who have shown understanding, and reconstruction is now underway,” Umahi stated, underscoring the government’s commitment to swift resolution and safety.
